Registrations Begins at 9:30 a.m.

Opening Session (10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) - Welcome and remarks by Senate Pro Temp Peter Shumlin, U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy and Governor James Douglas

Breakout Sessions (11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) - Attend one of seven workshops designed to
help Vermonters take advantage of the recovery bill.
There are one-page handouts from each session that are available now in PDF format below.

Lunch Break (12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.) - Please note this free conference does NOT include lunch. Local cafes, restaurants and shops are available.

Breakout Sessions (2:00 p.m.  - 3:15 p.m.) - Workshops repeat to allow you an opportunity to
attend a second workshop.

The Stimulus and Your Family - This session is designed for Vermonters and service providers interested in how the stimulus will impact them directly.  Learn about: Tax Incentives to Buy a Car or Home, Social Security, SSI, Unemployment, Health Care and Veterans Benefits, Home Weatherization and Hunger Assistance. ONE PAGE PDF HANDOUT.

Business Provisions of the Stimulus - This session is designed for small business owners looking to access new capital or weather the economic downturn.  Learn about: New SBA Loans, The Vt.
