"The news today is mixed for Vermont's veterans. The VA leadership in White River Junction should be commended for pledging to keep the surgical unit open. But the writing is on the wall unless the veterans department in Washington provides White River with the funds needed to support this decision. I know the Vermont congressional delegation will be working with Vermont's veterans to make sure that they continue to receive the vital services they deserve."
