On Rules To Implement The Sept. 11 Victim Compensation Fund

"Although no amount of compensation can replace a lost loved one, I believe these rules faithfully follow our goal of fair and prompt compensation to the September 11th victims and their families. These regulations appear to follow congressional intent to target federal help to the neediest victims and their families first and to consider the individual circumstances of each victim to determine just compensation. I commend Ken Feinberg for crafting fair and balanced regulations to govern the September 11Victim Compensation Fund."
