To Announce Decision

On Alito Nomination

 

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), the ranking Democratic member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, will announce his decision on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Samuel Alito in remarks Thursday at the Georgetown University Law Center, near Capitol Hill.

 

Leahy, a graduate of the law school, will speak at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, in the Hart Auditorium at the Georgetown University Law Center, First Floor, McDonough Hall, 600 New Jersey Ave., N.W.  Open to press.  Leahy’s remarks are titled, “The Alito Nomination, The Supreme Court, And Presidential Power.”
