Letter of Support from My Office If you are applying for a
federal grant, you may request a
letter of support from Sen. Leahy's office to accompany your application.
In order for Sen. Leahy to advocate on
your behalf, he will need some basic information about your grant proposal.
Below is a list of the details Sen. Leahy and his staff find most useful.
Please submit this information in writing, or simply provide Sen.
Leahy's office with Federal Form 424 and your Project Abstract.
Keep in mind that specifics on how your proposal will benefit your
community, why your application is unique, and why it is deserving of
federal funding, will help Sen. Leahy to best advocate for you. Please include this information

the agency on your behalf, Sen. Leahy is able to track the grant process through
