Active Duty:
If you are a Vermonter serving in the military and have tried
unsuccessfully to resolve a problem through your chain of command, call Sen.
Leahy's
Burlington office at (802) 863-2525 to see if he can help. Sen. Leahy welcomes calls from
your concerned relatives, but it is important that he hear directly from you,
the service member. If you want Sen. Leahy to initiate an inquiry on your behalf, you
will need to print and sign a Privacy Release Form.
It is also helpful if you provide a letter describing the problem, what steps
you have taken to try and resolve it, and how you think Sen. Leahy can help.
Send your information by fax (802-658-1009) or U.S. mail (Senator Patrick Leahy,
199 Main Street, Burlington, VT 05401). Be sure to include your social security
number and a phone number/e-mail address in case Sen. Leahy or his staff have questions.

military personnel, their dependents and survivors.
